Ava August, then 14 she performed before an SOLD-OUT crowd in the 30,000 spectators who gathered at Staples Center before the Los Angeles Kings hockey match. Ava August's performances with her team the Los Angeles Dodgers (professional baseball team) and L.A. Galaxy (professional soccer team) were cancelled due to COVID-19. Ava August was the youngest performer and appearance on American Idol's 19th season in the age group of 15. Ava August received the GOLDEN TICKER in the Audition Round. Following that, the Genre, Showstoppers, Duets, Celebrity/Solo and Top 16 rounds were held. Ava got into America's TOP 10 for the year. Ava August sang two originals on American Idol - Neighbor Boy and Ghost of You. Ava August also sang an amazing duet with internationally recognized celebrity Josh Groban. At 15, Ava August debuted her critically-acclaimed single Daybreak, a track that has been praised by critics. Daybreak that was followed by her first animated music video. On the morning of 11/01/20, Daybreak was played by KX 93.5 FM with The Tropical Surf Hour. Daybreak ran on the 29th of November, 88.5FM the LA/OC station within Southern California to 11M listeners.
